This class includes: - manufacture of internal combustion engines and engine parts: marine engines, railway engines (except motor vehicles, motorcycles and aircraft engines) - manufacture of internal combustion, diesel and other engines, parts thereof: pistons, piston rings, carburettors - manufacture of intake and exhaust valves for internal combustion engines - manufacture of turbines and spare parts thereof: steam turbines, hydraulic turbines, water wheels and their governors, wind turbines, gas turbines (except turbojet and turboprop engines) - manufacture of auxiliary components for boiler turbines - manufacture of auxiliary components for turbogenerators - manufacture of industrial engines Excludes: - manufacture of electric generators (except auxiliary components for turbogenerators), see 27.11 - manufacture of components for motor-generators (except turbogenerator components), see 27.11 - manufacture of components and electrical equipment for internal combustion engines, see 29.31 - manufacture of aircraft, vehicle and motorcycle engines, see 29.10, 30.30, 30.91 - manufacture of turbojet and turboprop engines, see 30.30
