Economic activity types

This class includes the manufacture of all types of electric motors and transformers (AC, DC, AC/DC): - manufacture of electric motors (except internal combustion and starter motors) - manufacture of electric distribution transformers - manufacture of arc welding transformers - manufacture of fluorescent ballasts (transformers) - manufacture of transformers for electricity distribution substations - manufacture of electric voltage converters and stabilizers - manufacture of electric generators (except improved internal combustion engine charging batteries) - manufacture of components for motor-generators (except starters for turbogenerators) - rewinding of magnetic armature windings, by production method. This class excludes: - manufacture of computer displays, see 26.20 - manufacture of cable television equipment and cameras, see 26.30 - manufacture of personal video cameras, see 26.40 - manufacture of equipment with laser components, see manufacture of equipment of the appropriate class (e.g. manufacture of medical laser equipment, see 26.60) - manufacture of photocopiers, see 28.23 - manufacture of ophthalmic products, see 32.50
