This class includes:
- printing of magazines and other similar periodicals published at least four times a week
- printing of books, brochures, musical scores, maps, atlases, posters, catalogues, notices, other printed advertising materials, postage stamps, seals, documents of title, cheques and other securities, "intelligent" cards for interaction with terminals (information input and output devices), albums, diaries, calendars, other commercial printed materials, personal office documents by letterpress, offset printing, gravure printing, flexographic, screen printing, letterpress and other printing machines, duplicating machines, computer printers, including high-speed printers, photocopiers and thermal printers
- direct printing on textiles, on plastic, glass, metal, wood, ceramics
- printing of labels by lithography, intaglio, flexographic and other methods Printed matter is usually protected by copyright.
Excludes:
- screen printing on silk fabric or clothing, see 13.30.0
- manufacture of notebooks, binders, business cards, folders and other office supplies where the printed information is not the main characteristic of the product, see 17.23.0

Services related to prepress and printing activities
This subclass includes:
- typesetting, photocomposition, data entry, scanning, electronic paging, including digital
- creation of electronic files of printed matter (on paper, magnetic disk, on the Internet)
- services for the preparation of printing plates, including the adjustment of print parameters and the preparation of printing plates (for letterpress and offset printing presses)
- cylinder preparation: preparation of printing plates (clichés) and the grinding of cylinders for engraving
- preparation of "printing plates" using digital printing technology, as well as photopolymer printing plates (polygraphic technology for the preparation of printing plates, without intermediate stages)
- preparation of printing plates and stamps for embossing or printing
- artistic work, for example, preparation of lithographic stones and woodcut plates
- design of printed matter: development of headpieces and other forms related to the presentation of printed matter, sketches, creation of formats, prototypes, etc.
- production of proofs.

This subclass includes:
- binding and finishing services for books, brochures, magazines, catalogues, etc.: folding, stitching, binding, gluing, collating, trimming, composing, gold stamping, attaching binding spirals, including plastic spirals
- other finishing services for printed matter: colour printing, including raised colour printing, punching and drilling holes, varnishing and laminating, Braille copying, grouping and gluing of leaflets, folding
- final processing of electronic files: collating, selecting, joining, graphic processing
