This class includes the publication of printed books, electronic publications (electronically recorded on CDs, on the Internet, etc.): - publishing of books, brochures, leaflets and similar publications, including dictionaries, encyclopedias, - publishing of atlases, maps, drawings - publishing of "sound" (recorded) books - publishing of encyclopedias on compact discs, etc. Excludes: - production of globes, see 32.99 - publishing of advertising materials, see 58.19.0 - publishing of recordings and musical works, see 59.20.0 - activities of independent authors, see 90.03.0

This subclass includes the publishing of directories, reference data (data bases), in which the information is protected by form but not by content: - publishing of address books - publishing of telephone directories - publishing of other directories and collections, such as legal case law or drug directories

This class includes the publication of newspapers, including advertising newspapers, published at least four times a week. Publications may be in print or electronic form, including the Internet. This class excludes: - activities of press agencies, see 63.91

This subclass includes the publishing of periodicals and magazines, published less than four times a week. Publications may be in print or electronic form, including the Internet. This class also includes the publishing of radio and television programmes.

This class includes: - publication of catalogues, photographs, engravings, postcards, business cards, calendars, letterheads, posters, artistic reproductions, advertising and other printed matter - publication of statistical data and similar information in an operational mode. Excludes: - publication of advertising newspapers, see 58.13 - maintenance services related to software in an operational mode (maintenance of application programs and system software and hardware), see 63.11
