Manufacture of watches and other time-recording devices

This class includes the manufacture of watches, all other types of watches, and various time-recording devices: - manufacture of watches and other types of watches, including those mounted on instrument panels - manufacture of watch and clock bodies, including those made of precious metal - manufacture of time-indicating devices, devices for recording, calculating or otherwise representing time intervals by means of clockwork or synchronisation, such as parking meters, timers, time/calendar indicating clocks, time-controllers for various processes - manufacture of switches or other switching devices (e.g., latches) by means of clockwork or synchronisation - manufacture of parts of watches and other types of watches, such as movements, springs, jewels, dials, hands and bridges and other small parts - manufacture of watch bodies and cases of various materials. This class excludes: - manufacture of non-metallic watch straps (fabric, leather, plastic), see 15.12 - manufacture of watch straps of precious metal, see 32.12 - manufacture of watch straps of base metal, see 32.13
