This subclass includes: - manufacture of surface-active organic substances - manufacture of paper, cotton, paperboard and other articles coated or treated with soap or washing substances - manufacture of glycerine - manufacture of soap (except cosmetic soap) - manufacture of surface-active preparations: washing powders, liquids, dishwashing detergents, fabric softeners - manufacture of preparations for freshening the air and removing odours in dwellings, artificial waxes and wax products, polishes and creams for leather and metal products, glass, body polishes, cleaning creams and powders, manufacture of paper, cotton, paperboard and other cleaning and polishing preparations coated or treated with them. Excludes: - manufacture of individual compounds with a specific chemical composition, see 20.13, 20.14.9 - manufacture of synthetic glycerine derived from petroleum products, see 20.14.9 - manufacture of cosmetic soap, see 20.42.0
