This class includes: - manufacture of mineral or fibrous contact materials and unlaid products - manufacture of insulating minerals: slag wool, mineral silicate wool and similar mineral wool, exfoliated vermiculite, expanded clays and similar heat-insulating and sound-absorbing materials - manufacture of various mineral products: processed mica, mica, peat, slate products (except electrical products) - manufacture of asphalt and similar materials (asphalt-based adhesives, coal tar, etc.) - manufacture of carbonaceous materials or slate fibers and products (except carbon electrodes and similar electrical products) - manufacture of artificial corundum - crushing, sorting, cleaning and other processing of rocks and minerals, which is not combined with mining or quarrying activities. Excludes: - manufacture of glass wool and glass wool products, see 23.14 - manufacture of carbon electrodes, see 27.90 - manufacture of carbonaceous or graphite glands, see 28.29
