This class includes: - underground mining of salt from mines, including dissolution and dewatering - production of salt from sea water or other brines by steam extraction - grinding, screening and refining of salt by the miner. Excludes: - processing of salt for the production of feed salt, e.g. salt iodization, see 10.84 - production of drinking water by desalination of brine, see 36.00
