Other social services with accommodation

This class includes the care of persons (other than the elderly and disabled) who are unable to care for their own daily needs and/or live independently, including the provision of accommodation and personal services. It includes the provision of 24-hour social services to children and special categories of persons with limited self-care capabilities, unless treatment and education are an essential component of the services provided. The activity can be carried out by both public and private organizations. This class includes: - activities of child care institutions - activities of children's boarding and residential institutions - activities of temporary shelters for the homeless - activities of institutions providing care for single mothers and their children - activities of institutions providing social assistance to persons with social and personal problems - activities of rehabilitation centers for criminals and offenders - activities of correctional homes for juvenile delinquents.
