Description

This subclass includes: - mining of natural phosphates and potassium salts - mining of natural sulfur - mining and enrichment of iron ore (pyrites), except by roasting - mining of natural barium sulfate (barite) and barium carbonate (witherite), natural borates, natural magnesium sulfate (kieserite) - mining of mineral pigments, fluorspar and other minerals primarily used as a source of chemicals - mining of animal remains (guano). Excludes: - salt mining, see 08.93 - iron ore roasting, see 20.13 - manufacture of chemical (synthetic) fertilizers and nitrogen compounds, see 20.15
